Getting Started

SyncAuction is a catalog automation platform that automatically syncs your Heritage Auctions (HA.com) Dealer Direct catalog to your e-commerce store (WooCommerce, Shopify, or BigCommerce). It handles product creation, pricing, inventory management, and order forwarding.

Yes, you must be a registered Heritage Auctions Dealer Direct partner with valid API credentials. SyncAuction uses the HA.com API to access your catalog, so API access is required.

No, SyncAuction is an independent, third-party platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Heritage Auctions (HA.com) in any way.

Most users are up and running within 30 minutes. The setup wizard guides you through connecting your HA.com account, adding your store, and configuring your first sync.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect immediately, and billing is prorated.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. Enterprise customers can also pay via invoice with NET 30 terms.

Yes, we offer annual billing with a 20% discount. Contact us to switch to annual billing.

You'll receive warnings at 80%, 90%, and 100% of your limits. At 100%, new syncs are paused until you upgrade or the next billing cycle. We never charge overages without your consent.

Technical Questions

SyncAuction currently supports WooCommerce, Shopify, and BigCommerce. We use the native APIs for each platform to ensure reliable integration.

Sync frequency depends on your plan: Starter (every 6 hours), Professional (every 2 hours), Enterprise (every hour or 15 minutes). You can also trigger on-demand syncs at any time.

We sync product titles, descriptions, images (obverse/reverse), prices, inventory status, categories, and metadata like grade, metal type, certification info, denomination, year, country, and CAC status.

When a customer places an order on your store, SyncAuction captures the order via webhooks and automatically forwards it to Heritage Auctions using their API. You receive notifications at each step.

Yes, our AI content generation feature can create unique, SEO-optimized descriptions for each product. You can customize the AI prompts, or edit descriptions manually after sync.

Products are automatically unpublished from your store when they're no longer available on Heritage Auctions. If the item becomes available again, it can be republished automatically.

Yes, depending on your plan. The Starter plan includes 1 store, Professional includes 3 stores, and Enterprise offers unlimited stores. All stores share the same inventory from HA.com.

You can create conditional pricing rules based on metal type, grade, price range, category, and more. Rules are applied in priority order, allowing you to set base markups with specific overrides for premium items.

Yes, SyncAuction provides a REST API for products, stores, orders, categories, and pricing rules. API access is available on Professional and Enterprise plans. View API documentation →

Security & Privacy

All API credentials are encrypted using AES-256 encryption with per-tenant encryption keys. Credentials are never stored in plain text and are only decrypted when needed for API calls.

Yes. We use TLS 1.3 for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, and implement strict access controls. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS with SOC 2 certified data centers. Learn more about our security →

Yes, you can request data deletion at any time. Upon account termination, all your data is permanently deleted within 90 days. You can also export your data before deletion.

Yes, we are fully GDPR compliant. We provide data export, data deletion, and data portability features. We also have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) available for EU customers.

Heritage Auctions Partnership

You'll need to apply directly with Heritage Auctions for Dealer Direct partnership. Visit ha.com and contact their dealer services team for more information.

You can update your Heritage Auctions API credentials at any time in your SyncAuction dashboard. Syncing will pause until valid credentials are provided, and you'll receive an alert when this happens.

SyncAuction only sends order data to Heritage Auctions as part of the order forwarding process, which you authorize. We do not share any other data with HA.com.

Currently, each SyncAuction organization connects to one Heritage Auctions Dealer Direct account. If you have multiple HA.com accounts, you would need separate SyncAuction subscriptions.
